Don't know much~ | | Good morning~My sister-in-law gave us a printer that they have had but haven't used yet. It's an Epson R280. We need a printer, as ours broke a while and we had to get rid of it. I teach Spanish (one-on-one, small groups, online...); and I'm starting a class this coming week. Looks like I'll be printing lots of papers each week for this class. We have to make a decision about a printer.My husband bought a printer the other day, a Canon Pixma MP 250. Money is super tight right now. We could return the printer my husband bought and use the money for other bills, etc. Or we could use the Epson R280.The thing with the Epson R280 is that it's a photo printer, and we don't really print pictures that much. If we do, we can just go to Walmart. We really don't need a photo printer. We're concerned about the cost of using this. It has six separate ink cartridges! The black one is $20; but a multi-pack of all the others is $89! There's no way we can afford to spend $89 on ink! My brother-in-law said that we could give this back to them if it didn't meet our needs.I have no idea as to how long it'd take for the different cartridges to run out. If... | |
| | Paper jam in canon pixma ip1900 | | I am printing two pages document in word using canon pixma ip1900 series. The first page was printed. The second page wasn't. The bond was ejected but nothing was printed. I tried to print the second page again and it was okay and printed.
I turned off the printer. I turned on again because i will be printing two pages document again in word. The first printing was successful. The second page wasn't because it display a message, paper jam and click resume to resume printing. I do it again and again but nothing happen. I checked for paper or any object but couldn't find. Why this was the message? Was there something i could do to solve my problem?

| | Do you use original or refill ink for your printer? | | I use refill ink because it really cheaper than use original ink. 5 years until now, i haven't problem with refill ink. May be, you think your cartridge will be damage using refill ink (We must be carefully for refill into the cartridge). Don't touch the head of cartridge or printer with your finger, that can cause your print head make a hole. Ink will be out, and if you'll printing the pictures or documents that line won't printing. So, make sure you don't touch the head of cartridge or printer then your printing will nice. What are you using, do you use original or refill ink for your printer? Tell me, anything what do you use.
